The Tattoo Series: Zutara Week 2014 - Melancholy

The Tattoo Series Part Four.

Yes, I did use reference pics from the Avatar: The Last Airbender. Yes. It's Zutara (re: THE TITLE).

I took inspiration from AJ Rayne's He Stares at the Water And She Watches the Fire. This piece can be done together or separately. Zuko and Katara here are connected by the colours, the symbols (of the Fire Nation and Water Tribe respectively) and the fact they themselves are not coloured in. Personally, I would place this tattoo (in couples) across the hypochondriac region (whether it be left or right).

The definition given by the Zutara Week for Melancholy was "A feeling of pensive sadness, typically with no obvious cause."

This piece was done (but I kept to rules and did not submit) before the definitions came out, using this definition "sober thoughtfulness; pensiveness"... Hope that doesn't disqualify me.
